Leica M Monochrom

Leica has announced the M-Monochrom, a black-and-white version of its M9 full frame rangefinder. The M-Monochrom has no color filter array in front of the sensor, meaning better high ISO, it captures more of the available light but cannot perceive color, so higher levels of detail are retained. In most other respects, the M-Monochrom shares its hardware with the M9 and M9-P

The camera can add three toning colors to its monchrome output or its uncompressed DNG files can be edited using the included copy of Adobe Lightroom. A full version of the Silver Efex 2 black and white software is also included. It will cost around $7,950.00 or €6,800

Is it really worth the price? And higher price than M9 ?

My youngest Leica photographer

The youngest Leica photographer is my little daughter who is only 17 months old, who loves cameras and every time she sees me holding one she cries to hold the camera and take photos. I guess she is taking over already:)

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

When I was young kid I used to look through the street photography and documentary photography  books especially from Henri Cartier-Bresson, amazing photos. It does take time and an eye to find the image that tells a story and capture it. I try to do my street photos quite often when I don’t shoot many weddings. Here are some images from two weeks ago.
